This just makes me cry

Whenever I run across this picture, I always get teared up and a little knot in my throat. These two appear to have nothing left in this world but each other. Without a home, the guy has nowhere to leave his K-9 buddy while he looks for work, and being alone on the street is safer in pairs. To part would be the logical thing to do, but when you've lost everything and you're grasping at those last pieces of your former life, it's just not an easy thing to do. You can just feel the love eminated from this picture, I pray for them, that they are safe, healthy,hopefully somewhere dry and warm... and employed. I pray people like me are near them and giving them any assistance they can.

I know, I know.... you're all wondering which one I'm referring to, well it's not Bristol, Willow ( even though she's just as much so ) or even that closet case, Todd. It's all about Sarah.... I just can't stand her and I don't know why so many people are listening to her and giving her credibility. She's not in politics any longer so why is her opinon so sought after? The gibberish that falls out of her mouth can't even be translated by a 2y.o. I think if we all just ignore her and her twisted offspring ( no offense Trig, I actually think you're an innocent victim ) she may just go away. Fingers crossed.

What is wrong with people?

I've been reading a blog/website that documents cases of abuse against animals ( www.pet-abuse.com ). I've read story after story and each one is just more disturbing than the last, I relish in the updates where the abuser receives his justice or the animal makes a full recovery and is adopted into a new loving home. I can't help but think, "what the fuck, makes people do these things to animals?" and I always pull my furry children closer and give them a big smooch or an extra long scratch behind the ears. I just don't, and I hope I never do, understand what makes people do horrible things to animals. I highly recommend reading some of the stories, even if it's only to make you cherish your own animals even more. I must warn you, it's not for the faint of heart.
